Welcome back from the September weekend! I hope you had a relaxing few days off. This week your homework is all due on Friday.
Literacy:
- Revise your spelling words from last week for this weeks spelling test.
- Complete a minimum of 3 Active spelling tasks.
- Complete your 'At the Supermarket' punctuation task.
- Please bring in all novels on Friday to discuss your recent reading with the class.
- Use your 3 times table multiplication cards to learn your 3 times table. Play your self by turning them upside down when you know the answer, play with a partner or family member by questioning each other one at a time or have them faced with the answers upwards and decide what the question is.
- If you manage to learn your three times table...WELL DONE! Try to move on to the next times table you need to learn so you are ahead for next week.
- A reminder that some of you have still to cover your homework jotter. Try to cover it before the October holiday.
- The Oak House event is on Friday for MacMillan Cancer Charity. Please if you can wear green to school and bring along £1 for charity. Parents are invited to come along on Friday at 10:45 for the coffee morning. Children are asked to bring in a cupcake decorated by them to enter into our competition to win a GIANT cupcake!
